Our story

Chef Tosh, named after the legendary reggae musician Peter Tosh, grew up in New York City in the ’90s.

Visiting family in Jamaica on his mother’s side, Renée Cox, Tosh loved patties ever since he was a child.

After studying hospitality management and completing his culinary degree, he worked in New York’s high-end hospitality industry.

In 2023, after many discussions with his mother about how it can be really hard to find high-quality patties in the city, he decided to take it upon himself to bring his family’s recipes to life.

Tosh invited his good friend, Dan, an industry colleague to help him achieve his goal: bring high-quality patties to the city.
